Rekva is operated by Rekva LLC ("Rekva," "we," "us," "our"). Rekva provides an AI-powered phone answering service for service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide
- Account & billing: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment details (processed by Stripe; Rekva does not store full card numbers).
- Configuration: business hours, service area, voicemail and forwarding preferences, and agent settings you configure.
- Support: messages and attachments you send to us at [email protected] or via the website.
Information collected automatically
- Call & message data: caller phone number, call timestamps, call duration, voice recordings, transcripts, and SMS content handled by Rekva on your behalf.
- Usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar log information.
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies for login/session, plus optional analytics cookies if you consent.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Rekva service.
- Answer calls and messages, generate transcripts and summaries, and deliver them to you.
- Process payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations.
- Send transactional emails (account, billing, security) and, where permitted, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Monitor, debug, and improve service quality and reliability.
4. Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum information necessary with vetted processors that act on our instructions:

5. We do not sell your personal information
Rekva does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
6. Data retention
We retain account data for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and audit obligations. Call recordings and transcripts are retained per your account settings; you can request deletion at any time.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored secrets and data, access controls, audit logging, and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure; please report concerns to [email protected].
8. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion, portability: email [email protected] from the address on file. We respond within 45 days.
- Opt out of marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message; transactional emails will continue.
- Cookies: control optional cookies via the consent banner or your browser settings.
- U.S. state residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah): you may have additional rights under your state’s law, including the right to appeal a denied request.
9. International users
Rekva is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. by us and our service providers.
10. Children’s privacy
Rekva is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-product notice.
